| you & to preyse yow . 734 For salamon saith / He that repreueth | |||
| hym that doth folye 735 he shal fynde gretter grace than he that | |||
| disseyueth hym with swete wordes . 736 Than said dame pru | |||
| dence I make no semblant of wrath ne of anger but for | |||
| your prouffit . 737 For Salamon saith He is more wroth that | |||
| repreuyth or chydeth a fool for his folye shewyng hym sem | |||
| blant of wrath 738 than he that supporteth hym and preyseth | |||
| hym in his mysdoyng and lawith at his folye . 739 And this | |||
| same Salamon saith afterward that by the soroufull vi | |||
| sage of a man that is to saye by the sory and the heuy con | |||
| tenance of a man 740 the fole corecteth hym self and amendeth | |||
| 741 Than said Mellebee I shal not con answere you vnto so | |||
| many fair resons as ye haue put to me and shewd . 742 Saye | |||
| ye shortly your will and your counceyll and I am redy | |||
| to performe & fulfylle it . 743 Than dame Prudence discouerid | |||
| alle her will vnto hym and saide / 744 I counceylle you above | |||
| alle thing that ye make pees betwene god and you / 745 and | |||
| be ye reconsiled vnto hym and to his grace / 746 For as I haue | |||
| said before God haue suffrid yow to haue al this tribula | |||
| tion and disese for your synnes 747 And yf ye do as ye saye | |||
| yow / god wil sende youre aduersaryes vnto you 748 and make | |||
