| But sodenly he loste his dignite | |
| And lik abest hym semyd forto be | |
| And eet hey as an oxe and lay ther oute | |
175 | In rayn with wilde bestis walkid he | |
| Tyl a certeyn tyme was come aboute | |
| And lik an eglis fetheris were his heris | |
| And naylis lik birdes clawis were | |
| God releuyd hym at certeyn yeris | |
