the world / And after that he brent fyue cytees and sanke | |||
doun in to helle . 766 Now lete vs speke thenne of the synne of | |||
lecherye that men clepen auoultrye that is of wedded folke | |||
that is to saye yf that one of hem be weddid or els bothe . | |||
767 Seynt Iohn saith that thauowtrers shul be in helle in a | |||
stynkyng brennyng pyt of fyre & brymston . For lecherye | |||
is likenyd to brymstom for the stynke or her ordure . 768 Certes | |||

is forbode / but eke the desyre to do that synne / 773 This cursid | |||
synne anoyeth greuously hem that it haunte and first to | |||
the soule . For he obligeth it to synne and to peyne of deth | |||
that is perdurable / 774 and to the body anoyeth it greuously | |||
