| doun in to helle . 766 Now lete vs speke thenne of the synne of | |||
| lecherye that men clepen auoultrye that is of wedded folke | |||
| that is to saye yf that one of hem be weddid or els bothe . | |||
| 767 Seynt Iohn saith that thauowtrers shul be in helle in a | |||
| stynkyng brennyng pyt of fyre & brymston . For lecherye | |||
| is likenyd to brymstom for the stynke or her ordure . 768 Certes | |||
| the bereuyng & breking of this sacramēt is an horrible thinge | |||

| herte / 772 Here may ye see that not only the dede of this synne | |||
| is forbode / but eke the desyre to do that synne / 773 This cursid | |||
| synne anoyeth greuously hem that it haunte and first to | |||
| the soule . For he obligeth it to synne and to peyne of deth | |||
| that is perdurable / 774 and to the body anoyeth it greuously | |||
